"Novocaine 2025" Watch on Lookmovie: A Man Who Cannot Experience Pain

 

Novocaine lookmovie, No Pain in certain areas, is an American action comedy film released in 2025. Directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, the screenplay was crafted by Lars Jacobson. The film features a cast that includes Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder, Ray Nicholson, Betty Gabriel, Matt Walsh, and Jacob Batalon. The storyline centers on Nathan Caine (played by Quaid), a bank employee who cannot feel pain, as he embarks on a mission to rescue his colleague (Midthunder) after she is taken hostage by a group of bank robbers.

Nathan Caine is a reserved introvert suffering from congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis (CIPA), working as an assistant manager at a trust credit union in San Diego. His co-worker, Sherry Margrave, has romantic feelings for him, but Nathan is reluctant to pursue a relationship due to his condition and lack of experience with women. While at a bar with Sherry, Nathan encounters his former middle-school bully, who taunts him with the nickname "Novocaine." In retaliation, Sherry tricks the bully into consuming a shot of hot sauce, leading to a night of intimacy between them.

On Christmas Eve, a group of robbers dressed as Santa Claus, led by Simon Greenly, storm the credit union. Simon kills Nathan's boss, Nigel, and takes Sherry hostage. In a moment of impulsiveness, Nathan steals a police car to chase after the vehicle holding Sherry but mistakenly follows the wrong car. This leads him to a confrontation with another robber, Ben Clark, in a restaurant kitchen. Nathan ultimately shoots Ben, but not before suffering a severe burn on his hand while trying to retrieve Ben’s gun from a deep fryer.
