Review of “Time Cut”: At the Time Travel Slasher Party Late

Time Cut Lookmovies is charming, though it has a bit of a School Special feel. What I particularly appreciated was the character of Lucy from 2024, who is portrayed as a strong and intelligent young woman unafraid to confront challenges. She stands up to the bully and actively pursues the serial killer, breaking away from the typical horror clichés where female characters often run away, trip, or scream. Without giving too much away, Lucy is clever, has a strategy, and knows how to handle a knife. Additionally, I enjoyed the subtle inclusion of Summer's lesbian subplot; while it’s a minor aspect, it feels authentic and well-integrated into the story. Overall, it’s an adorable movie with an unexpected twist at the end.
